AC Maintenance & Tune-Up in Cumming, GA

Keep Your AC Ready Before Georgia Summer Hits

Your air conditioner is one of the largest investments in your home, and Georgia summers put it to the test. The Cool Season Annual Maintenance Plan keeps your AC running at peak efficiency, catches problems before they become July emergencies, and keeps your manufacturer warranty documentation current.

From $229/year — two visits, every system in your home covered. The spring visit is your AC tune-up. The fall visit covers your heating equipment before the first cold night. One plan, one price, both seasons covered.

Plan members also get 10% off all repairs, priority scheduling in peak season, and free diagnostics on service calls.

What counts as a system? One outdoor unit and the indoor equipment it feeds. A single system with two zones is still one system. A two-story home with two outdoor units is two systems.

For one system, two tune-ups bought separately cost $270. The plan costs $229 and includes the repair discount, priority scheduling, and free diagnostics on top. Nothing is added to your bill without a written number first.

What You Get as a Plan Member

✅ Spring AC Tune-Up — a complete 15-point inspection scheduled before peak summer. Every visit is 45 to 75 minutes of real work, not a quick drive-by.

✅ Fall Heating Tune-Up — your second visit, before the first cold night. For gas furnaces this includes a combustion analysis and carbon monoxide check.

✅ 10% Off All Repairs — parts and labor, for as long as you're a member.

✅ Priority Scheduling — when your AC quits on the hottest day of summer, plan members go to the front of the line.

✅ Free Diagnostics on Service Calls — the diagnostic fee is waived. You pay for the repair, not for the visit.

✅ Warranty Documentation — most manufacturer warranties require documented annual maintenance by a licensed contractor. We keep those records for you.

✅ Written Inspection Report — after every visit, a clear report on your system's condition. No jargon, no scare tactics.

✅ Scheduling Reminders — we contact you when your visit is due, so you're not the one keeping track.

✅ Transfers With Your Home — if you sell, the plan goes to the new owner.

✅ No Overtime or Weekend Fees — the same for every Cool Season customer, member or not.

What the Plan Actually Changes

I'll be straight about this instead of putting invented savings numbers on the page.

On a normal year, the plan means your AC gets cleaned and checked before summer and your heat gets checked before winter, and you don't have to remember to call. Two tune-ups you'd otherwise buy separately, for less than they'd cost separately.

On a bad year, the difference is bigger. When something fails in the middle of July, a member gets seen first, doesn't pay a diagnostic fee, and pays 10% less for the repair. That's the year the plan pays for itself.

Over the life of the system, the honest answer is that a system serviced every year lasts longer than one that isn't. I've replaced 9-year-old units that should have had another decade in them, and I've serviced 18-year-old units still running because the owner never skipped a year. How much that's worth in your house depends on your equipment, your ductwork, and how hard you run it — so I'm not going to quote you a figure I can't back up.

What I can tell you: a tune-up costs less than the repair it prevents.

Which Visit Covers What

One plan, two visits, from $229/year. What we do on each visit depends on your equipment:

Spring visit — cooling. The 15-point AC tune-up above. This is the page you're on.

Fall visit — heating. Furnace or heat pump, depending on your setup. Gas furnaces get a combustion analysis and CO check. See the Heating Maintenance Plan page for what that visit covers.

Heat pump homes. A heat pump both heats and cools, so both modes get checked. Details on the Heat Pump Maintenance Plan page.

Not sure which applies to your house? Call and describe your equipment — it takes about a minute to sort out.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does the plan cost? $229/year for one system, which covers two visits — spring cooling and fall heating. Two systems are $349, three are $459. First year is $40 off the total. A one-time tune-up without a plan is $135 for one system.

What's included? Two annual tune-up visits, 10% off repairs, priority scheduling, free diagnostics on service calls, scheduling reminders, written reports after every visit, and warranty documentation.

Why not just buy one tune-up a year? You can — that's the $135 one-time service. The plan makes sense if you want both seasons covered, since two separate tune-ups cost $270 and the plan is $229 with the discount and priority service included. How does priority service work? Plan members go to the front of the line. In peak summer, when non-members are waiting several days for a repair appointment, members typically get same-day service.

Do I have to commit for multiple years? No. It's a one-year agreement, renewable. If you cancel partway through, we settle up based on the visits you've already used.

Will skipping maintenance void my AC warranty? It can. Most manufacturer warranties require documented annual maintenance by a licensed contractor — check your specific warranty terms. We keep the paperwork either way, so your records stay clean.

What if my AC is older — am I still eligible? Yes. No pre-inspection required. Every system is eligible regardless of age, brand, or who installed it.

Does the plan include parts and refrigerant? The plan covers the tune-up visits. If a repair is needed, members get 10% off parts and labor, and you get a written quote before we do anything.

Can I add a second AC unit? Yes. Two systems are $349/year, three are $459/year. Each system gets its own full inspection on every visit and its own written report. A system with two zones counts as one system, since it's one piece of equipment.

How do I schedule my visits? We send a reminder when each one is due. You can also schedule online or call anytime.

What if I sell my home? The plan transfers to the new owner.

When's the best time to enroll? Late winter or early spring, February through April, lines up best — you'll get your cooling tune-up right before the heat arrives. But any time of year works; we just start with whichever visit is due next.
